Why Choose CELTA in Brittany?

France receives around 81 million visitors each year which is a testament to the country’s popularity. The job market is extremely competitive, and English teaching is no exception. Moreover, the CELTA qualification is well recognized by employers worldwide and gives teachers an edge in a very competitive market of which Brittany is an essential part. Teachers with a CELTA in Brittany are well received by employers who often have multiple applicants for the same job.

Teaching contracts in the city generally last a year although shorter contracts are also possible. Most ESL teachers spend between 10 and 30 hours a week in the classroom with varying class sizes and levels of ability dependent on the type of school you work.

Schools hire TEFL teachers ready for the start of the year in September and again in January, and many teachers say finding a job in person is much easier than online.

Villages and smaller towns are much cheaper to live in than cities, so staying on in Brittany is a cost-effective choice. TEFL teachers generally earn around 1,800 USD to 2,500 USD a month which will go a lot further than outside the larger cities where living costs are higher.

Brittany`s local food specialties do not disappoint.
